DESCRIPTION:
Manni is a talented producer at the forefront of the Brazilian music scene. His contribution to the local scene dates back to the mid 80s, when he first started DJing, performing live and producing techno and house music with an all-Brazilian twist. His recent release, “Eddie Would Go”, features the original mix of the track, as well as two remixes. The second track is a remix by Pino Arduini (Defected, Map Dance) and Monodeluxe (Vibe Boutique Records), who put a classic spin to this track, with really even dynamics and a dance-floor friendly beat full of dense textures and upbeat tones.
The remix curated by Jonzun (Society 3.0) has a a slightly more lo-key approach, going for a smooth, yet focused sound that highlights the beautiful melodic elements of Manni’s original composition in a very elegant way. The original mix, on the other hand, is an outstanding showcase of Manni’s experience and skills as a producer: organic-sounding beats with bouncy rhythms and great song structures are all part of the equation!
